What will you be doing:

The Nurse Practitioner will work with the Cedars-Sinai Neuroscience Critical Care Division, which operates a world-class, 24-bed unit that specializes in the management of critically ill patients with neurological conditions. State-of-the-art care in the unit is provided by a multidisciplinary team comprising full-time Neurointensivists, Clinical Fellows, Nurse Practitioners, Neurology and Anesthesia Residents and a dedicated Neurocritical Care Pharmacist.
• You will provide direct patient care on a rotating 12-hour shift schedule that includes weekdays, nights, weekends and holidays
• Participate in rounding on Neurology, Neurosurgery and Traumatic Brain Injury patients
• Deliver care to patient population includes both surgical and non-surgical patients in an ICU setting
• Responsible to the Medical Director and the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) and functions as an integral part of the medical team.

Experience Requirements:

One (1)+ years’ experience in Clinically management ICU patient with neurologic and spinal cord injury preferred.

Three (3)+ years of clinical care nursing experience.

Neurology or Neurosurgery experience preferred.

The IRB Analyst II processes moderate to high complex protocols reviews and processes submissions for IRB review. The IRB Analyst II assumes a lead role in Departmental outreach, training, education, and quality improvement activities under the direction of the Associate Director.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

•Maintains responsibility for protocols submitted for IRB review, demonstrating leadership, expertise, and assumes responsibility for the processing of protocols of moderate to high complexity that typically require the development of unique solutions or advanced understanding of the principles and regulations related to human subject research

Tell me about the role:

The LVN supports the physician and nursing staff in the delivery of health care by performing patient care assessments, and a variety of medically related tasks. The LVN is a licensed nurse who works in an ambulatory care setting to provide nursing services.
Job duties and responsibilities:
• Greet patients and provide an initial nursing evaluation.
• Manages patient and takes a leadership role within the suit.
• Prepare patients for provider by reviewing current medications and record in medical record.
• Take appropriate vital signs and record in medical record.

What you will be doing:

The Clinical Research Coordinator II works independently providing study coordination including screening of potential patients for protocol eligibility, presenting non-medical trial concepts and details, and participating in the informed consent process. Responsible for accurate and timely source documents, data collection, documentation, entry, and reporting including timely response to sponsor queries.

Responsible for compiling and reporting on each study including information related to protocol activity, accrual data, workload, and other research information. Presents information at regular research staff meetings. May plan and coordinate strategies for increasing patient enrollment, improving efficiency, training of personnel, or identifying new research opportunities. Ensures compliance with all federal and local agencies including the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and local Institutional Review Board (IRB).
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
• Independent study coordination including screening of potential patients for protocol eligibility, presenting non-medical trial concepts and details to the patients, and participating in the informed consent process.
• Schedules patients for research visits and procedures.
• In collaboration with the physician and other medical personnel, documents thoroughly on Case Report Forms (CRFs) the following; changes in patient condition, adverse events, concomitant medication use, protocol compliance, response to study drug.
• Maintains accurate source documents related to all research procedures.
• Responsible for accurate and timely data collection, documentation, entry, and reporting including timely response to sponsor queries.
• Schedules and participates in monitoring and auditing activities.
• Notifies direct supervisor about concerns regarding data quality and study conduct.
• Works closely with a regulatory coordinator or directly with the Institutional Review Board (IRB) to submit Adverse Events, Serious Adverse Events, protocol deviations, and Safety Letters in accordance with local and federal guidelines.
• May perform other regulatory / Institutional Review Board duties, budgeting duties, and assisting with patient research billing and reconciliation.
• Ensures compliance with all federal and local agencies including the Food and Drug Administration (FDA and local Institutional Review Board.
• Maintains research practices using Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.
• Maintains strict patient confidentiality according to HIPAA regulations and applicable law.
• May coordinate training and education of other personnel.
• May participate in centralized activities such as auditing, Standard Operating Procedure development, etc.
• May plan and coordinate strategies for increasing patient enrollment, and/or improving clinical research efficiency.
• May identify quality and performance improvement opportunities and collaborate with staff in the development of action plans to improve quality.
• May identify new research opportunities and present to investigators
• Participates in required training and education programs.
